Cancellation Policy
This Cancellation Policy explains how to cancel Fyboard, FyTools, and FyServices subscriptions, add-ons, and usage packs, when cancellations take effect, how auto-renewal works, and what happens to your data. It works alongside our Terms of Service and Refund Policy.
You can cancel eligible subscriptions, modules, FyTools tools, FyServices services, add-ons, and usage packs at any time. The cancellation process is designed to be straightforward while making sure you understand the implications for each entitlement, since one product surface can be cancelled without changing another.
Cancelling stops future renewals for the selected entitlement. Whether you keep access until the end of the paid period or lose it immediately depends on the cancellation type you choose, described below.
Cancelling is not the same as a refund. To request money back, see the Refund Policy. Full terms are in Terms of Service §5.11.
Cancellation steps
Open billing settings
Go to the billing section of your account dashboard, or email us to request cancellation
Select the entitlement
Choose the specific plan, module, tool, service, add-on, or usage pack to cancel
Confirm timing & feedback
Confirm whether the cancellation is immediate or end-of-period, and optionally tell us why
Email confirmation
Receive a confirmation email with your cancellation details and account status
Prefer email? Write to [email protected] from your account email with the subscription or order you want to cancel. We will confirm the cancellation and the effective date in writing.
Immediate cancellation
- Selected entitlement access ends immediately
- Refund eligibility is reviewed under the Refund Policy
- Data export available for 30 days where technically possible
- You can reactivate with a new purchase where available
End-of-period cancellation
- Full access to the cancelled entitlement until its paid period ends
- No new renewal charge after cancellation is confirmed
- Account downgrades to free or lower limits where available
- Data preserved according to the remaining plan limits
Subscriptions renew at the end of each billing period unless cancelled before the renewal date. We send renewal reminders so you have time to decide. Some entitlements are non-recurring, usage-based, or credit-based — auto-renewal applies only when the checkout, invoice, order form, or billing dashboard says the specific entitlement renews.

Cancellation deadline
To avoid automatic renewal, cancel at least 24 hours before the renewal date. Cancellations made after renewal processing has started may take effect at the next billing cycle unless a refund is approved under the Refund Policy.
When you cancel, your account downgrades to the free tier or to lower limits where available. Where technically possible, data export remains available for 30 days so you can take your content with you. Data is retained, restricted, or deleted according to our retention practices and applicable law.

Cancelling stops future charges but does not automatically refund a charge already taken. Refund eligibility is reviewed separately under the Refund Policy, which is strict: charges are non-refundable except for billing errors, non-delivery, fraud, or where required by law. Renewals are non-refundable once the billing period has started — so cancel before the renewal date to avoid the charge.
