FyPDFs · Finish
Compress a PDF, never bigger.
Pick a preset or set it yourself. FyPDFs tries more than one way of shrinking the file and gives you the smallest — and never a file bigger than the one you put in.

Good to know
What it does, and what it doesn't.
01
Smallest wins
It optimises the file as it is, and also tries redrawing image-heavy pages. You get whichever is smallest.
02
The trade
If redrawing wins, the pages become pictures: they look the same, but their text can't be selected any more.
03
Never bigger
If nothing makes it smaller, you get your original back rather than a larger copy.
Then
Carry on from here.
In the studio, "Continue with" hands the result straight to the next job — no download in between.
Questions
Asked and answered.
How much smaller will it get?
It depends on the file: scans and photos shrink a lot, text-only PDFs very little.
Is the file uploaded?
No. Compression runs in your browser.
Is it free?
Yes. It runs in your browser, with no account and no daily limit.
Is my file uploaded?
No. It's read and written on your own machine.
