Are my vectors shared with other accounts?
No. Every segment and vector is stored against your account.
Can I query the vectors directly?
Not from a search screen. Retrieval happens inside Ask, which uses both indexes.
Why keep a keyword index as well?
Names, numbers and exact terms are found best by their words; ideas phrased differently are found by meaning. FyBrain uses both.
