What they do, and what they don't.

Word reads .docx
Word to PDF sets the document out again in your browser; exact fonts, text boxes, headers and footers may come out simpler.

CSV keeps values
Excel to CSV reads .xlsx and .xls and writes every sheet into one CSV, each marked with its name.

HTML is a file
Save the page as .html first. Styles and pictures it loads from elsewhere may not come with it.

Back to Office uploads
PDF to Word and PDF to Excel run on a server, so the file is uploaded. The result lands in your FyDrive.

Scans too
A scanned PDF with no text in it is read with OCR first, automatically, before it becomes Word or Excel.

PDF to Excel makes each page a sheet, its rows and columns rebuilt from where the words sit.

Will PDF to Word keep the layout?
The text comes back as lines and paragraphs you can edit. Columns, tables and designed layouts may need tidying in Word.
Can I get one CSV per sheet?
Not yet: all sheets come in one CSV, each marked with its name.
Is it free?
Word to PDF, Excel to CSV and HTML to PDF run in your browser, free. PDF to Word and PDF to Excel run on a server, so they're part of Cloud Pro (100 cloud runs a month, files up to 100 MB).
Are my files uploaded?
For PDF to Word and PDF to Excel, yes — after you sign in, and the result is saved to your FyDrive, where you can delete it. Word to PDF, Excel to CSV and HTML to PDF keep the file on your machine.
